Like many other European cities, Amsterdam has an urban motorway surrounding its center. Instead of regretting the loss of land for urban transport infrastructure, this short film explores the indeterminate and ever-changing landscape that has emerged during the construction process of the motorway. By setting J.M. Arsath Ro’is’ view of the construction site against contemporary photographs, it fictionalises the motorway and brings the ephemeral landscape back to life.
