The next BIENNALE BREGAGLIA will take place from 2 June to 28 September 2024 in Bondo (CH). This third edition explores the theme «Architecture and Gardens». An international selection committee has choosen 10 site-specific projects of national and international artistic positions: Kotoaki Asano, Lisa Collomb, Athene Galiciadis, Georg Gatsas, Marcel Herbst, Piero Maspoli, Juliana Rios Martinez, Lea Schaffner, Ines Marita Schärer and Jonathan Steiger are the artists of the upcoming BIENNALE BREGAGLIA 2024.
In February 2024 the Artists spent a residency week at Villa Garbald in Castasegna where we made ourselves familiar with the valley and developed our work for the Biennale. The photographs are document from my research about the movement of stones — both in the local architecture and in the landscape.
